Mugen have developed a baffle system inside a stock honda oil pan allowing for perfect leak free fitment...a true "fit and forget" item. Mugen, the most respected name in honda performance development, have researched possible issues with oil delivery in the K-Series engines and have found the stock sump to be lacking....the OE Honda unit is basically an empty shell with no baffles which means that the oil has free reign over the oil pan. This causes a big issue when accelerating hard or cornering where lateral forces are placed on the oil system....
