As you increase your engines output and tractive grip from uprated tyres, it places extra load on your vehicles drivetrain system and more specifically the clutch system. Helix Autosport manufacture a viable and reliable solution to keep that extra power on the road and not lose it through clutch slip and clutch failure and are balanced to 10,000 rpm!!! The Helix Race/Rally 4puk clutch system is a 3pc kit that includes an Uprated Cover, Cerametallic 4 or 6 puk (depending on application) Rigid Drive Plate and oe spec Clutch Release Bearing. Heavy duty cover assembly Helix clutch is intended for applications where the engine/vehicle performance has been increased above standard. All the HELIX clutch ranges are manufactured from new components to the highest standards using the best materials available. They are designed to exert additional clamp load to cope with a higher transmittable torque and an increase in engine rpm. The units can be fitted as a direct replacement for the standard unit without modification to the flywheel and retaining the standard clutch type release mechanism. Cerametallic 4/6puk drive plate with rigid hub The rigid cerametallic drive plate has no form of damper or segment cushioning. It is designed primarily for the most arduous of working conditions where strength and durability are paramount, together with the heat resistant properties of the cerametallic friction pads. OE spec clutch release bearing An oe spec bearing which matches or exceeds the original Honda unit for hassle free operation and worry free service. WARNING: 4/6 puk clutches can have juddery engagment during low rpm use.
